Montgomery County

Welcome to Montgomery County

Known for its appealing urban meets suburban ambiance, excellent public school system, and fantastic shopping opportunities, Montgomery County has long been the preferred real estate market among many families, professionals, and high-net-worth individuals who enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle within commuting distance from the District. Although the county’s three most popular and populous cities, Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Germantown are the most conveniently located, with all three positioned only a short drive from Interstate 270, the Metro’s Red Line has stations in a number of other cities and towns, providing most county residents an equally quick and easy commute.

With a long and storied history, Montgomery County is not only home to many intriguing historic districts, but also offers potential homeowners to secure a piece of history by purchasing a stately Queen Anne, English Tudor, Colonial Revival, or Italianate house in one of the county’s more spacious, quieter communities. Should a more urban experience be preferred, Montgomery County’s bustling cities play host to many luxury condos and townhouses to suit nearly every budget and preference.
